Venice: the most beautiful city, lined with reflective canals & unexpected facades. without the distraction of cars & traffic, you can focus your senses & really be present in your travels.

Gelateria Ca d'Oro: fior di latte was my favorite

Caffè Florian: touristy, but still fun to grab a coffee drink & people watch

Al Merca: little sandwiches/happy hour

Dal Moro's Pasta to-go: the best! bolognese in a box eaten by the canals can't be beat

Osteria Alla Frasca: a quaint restaurant w/ yummy gnocchi

Harry's Bar: for drinks by the water

Ca d'Oro: palace turned museum w/ stunning tile floors & views across the canal (my #1 thing to do in venice)

Rialto Market: wander about looking at all the seafood

Peggy Guggenheim + Ponte dell'Accademia: a museum trip followed by a perfect photo op on the bridge

Bridge of Spies: another quintessential bridge

Piazza San Marco: watch the sunset or take a gondola ride

Take a ferry to Burano for a fun field trip

We stayed at the loveliest Airbnb & I would highly recommend it! Great location, canal window views, & the sweetest host (she even baked us a homemade chocolate cake for our arrival)
